Immutable, a gaming technology company focused on blockchain-based infrastructure, has announced the official debut of Mintory, a next-generation Web3 game economy community. Alongside the launch, the company confirmed the onboarding of its first featured title, Ragnarok Sharing Hero NFT. The initiative represents a strategic expansion of the Immutable ecosystem, integrating community-driven engagement tools, NFT gallery capabilities, token-based incentives, and competitive gameplay elements for a global audience.

Mintory has introduced dedicated social channels as part of its rollout and is positioning itself as a platform aimed at broadening the scope of Web3 gaming ecosystems. The platform is launching with features such as token airdrops, NFT distributions, leaderboard-based quests, and special launch events delivered through Immutable Play. Company representatives indicated that these features are intended to stimulate engagement and encourage sustained participation from players worldwide.

The first title to join the platform, Ragnarok Sharing Hero NFT, signals Mintory’s ambition to establish a strong presence in the global Web3 gaming market. The onboarding of this title is expected to serve as a foundational step in building a broader portfolio of blockchain-integrated games within the Mintory community.

Real-Time Faction Warfare and Dynamic Rewards

Ragnarok Sharing Hero NFT introduces a real-time faction-based warfare system centered on competition between two opposing forces, Cosmos and Chaos. Players engage in player-versus-player battles and MVP ranking competitions, influencing the evolving state of the game server. The in-game reward known as MINT, described as being controlled by the game’s artificial intelligence system, is allocated to participants based on performance and territorial control.

The battlefield environment dynamically shifts depending on which faction holds dominance. Each state, whether Cosmos or Chaos, offers distinct reward structures. To maintain competitive balance and prevent prolonged dominance by a single faction, the system automatically enforces restrictions, including limits on character creation. This design is intended to preserve fairness and deepen strategic complexity in large-scale competitive play.

Beyond faction warfare, the title incorporates recognizable elements of the Ragnarok intellectual property, including its visual style and immersive background music. Developers have combined these nostalgic elements with streamlined controls and expansive competitive content to create a refreshed gameplay experience tailored to Web3 participants.

Strengthening the Blockchain Gaming Ecosystem

Ragnarok Sharing Hero NFT integrates core blockchain gaming components such as item minting, NFT trading, MVP hunting, and guild battles. These features are structured to support a sustainable play-to-earn model within the Web3 framework. The game also introduces a Character Sharing System, which enables players to strategically share and utilize each other’s characters beyond conventional party mechanics.

Through this system, players who lend their characters can earn MINT rewards, while those who borrow characters can assemble squads to participate in high-level content such as Demon Lord raids, Kingdom missions, and other progression-based activities. This mechanic is designed to foster cooperation and strategic coordination, enhancing the overall gameplay loop.

Mintory further expands engagement through its NFT Gallery System, allowing players to display their digital assets, receive feedback through likes and rankings, and extend interaction beyond in-game activities. To commemorate the onboarding of Ragnarok Sharing Hero NFT, Mintory has introduced a limited-time NFT figure event that combines digital collectibles with tangible merchandise inspired by the Ragnarok brand.

Developers involved in the project indicated that the combination of dynamic faction shifts, character-sharing mechanics, and integrated NFT systems is intended to deliver strategic depth and meaningful incentives. An Immutable representative expressed enthusiasm about incorporating a highly developed and ambitious title into the company’s ecosystem.

The launch is supported by Funigloo, a global game studio established in 2008 with experience in both traditional and blockchain gaming. Having previously collaborated on NFT-based projects, Funigloo is now working with Immutable to advance Web3 gameplay models that emphasize organic participation and sustainable reward structures beginning in 2026.

Curve Finance Pitches Yield Basis, a $60M Plan to Turn CRV Tokens Into Income Assets

The post Curve Finance Pitches Yield Basis, a $60M Plan to Turn CRV Tokens Into Income Assets appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Curve Finance founder Michael Egorov unveiled a proposal on the Curve DAO governance forum that would give the decentralized exchange’s token holders a more direct way to earn income. The protocol, called Yield Basis, aims to distribute sustainable returns to CRV holders who stake tokens to participate in governance votes, receiving veCRV tokens in exchange. The plan moves beyond the occasional airdrops that have defined the platform’s token economy to date. Under the proposal, $60 million of Curve’s crvUSD stablecoin will be minted before Yield Basis starts up. Funds from selling the tokens will support three bitcoin-focused pools; WBTC, cbBTC and tBTC, each capped at $10 million. Yield Basis will return between 35% and 65% of its value to veCRV holders, while reserving 25% of Yield Basis tokens for the Curve ecosystem. Voting on the proposal runs from Sept. 17 to Sept. 24. The protocol is designed to attract institutional and professional traders by offering transparent, sustainable bitcoin yields while avoiding the impermanent loss issues common in automated market makers. Diagram showing how compounding leverage can remove risk of impermanent loss (CRV) Impermanent loss occurs when the value of assets locked in a liquidity pool changes compared with holding the assets directly, leaving liquidity providers with fewer gains (or greater losses) once they withdraw. The new protocol comes against a backdrop of financial turbulence for Egorov himself. The Curve founder has suffered several high-profile liquidations in 2024 tied to leveraged CRV purchases. In June, more than $140 million worth of CRV positions were liquidated after Egorov borrowed heavily against the token to support its price. That episode left Curve with $10 million in bad debt. Most recently, in December, Egorov was liquidated for 918,830 CRV (about $882,000) after the token dropped 12% in a single day. He later said on…
