In a few days, Harry Styles’ new single “Aperture” will launch on most music charts around the world, and it is all but guaranteed to become a huge smash. The track, the first taste of his upcoming album Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, ushers in one of the most highly-anticipated campaigns of 2026, and excitement for the poppy cut was intense.

When Billboard refreshed its rosters. “Aperture” may debut on top of competitive tallies like the Hot 100, Streaming Songs, and Digital Song Sales charts. Before that happens, the song is already off to an early start on one radio list.

“Aperture” Debuts on Billboard’s Adult Pop Airplay Chart

“Aperture” debuts on one Billboard chart this frame thanks to immediate and early adoption at radio. Styles’ latest cut opens at No. 39 on the Adult Pop Airplay list. Alongside the Pop Airplay and Adult Contemporary charts, the Adult Pop Airplay ranking is one of a trio of pop radio rosters published by the company each frame.

Early Radio Support Signals a Strong Future for “Aperture”

The fact that “Aperture” already appears on the Adult Pop Airplay chart is a very good sign for the song’s future. Styles released “Aperture” late in the day on Thursday (January 22), with only a few hours of availability in that tracking period, which ended as Thursday turned to Friday on the East Coast in America.

Styles’ single reached a large enough audience on radio stations that focus on a more mature side of pop to become a top 40 hit. To be able to do so in only a matter of hours means that Styles’ label pushed the single mightily, and that programmers and DJs throughout the nation were eager to put it into rotation the moment they could.

Harry Styles Joins Hilary Duff, Mariah Carey and Ella Langley

Styles claims one of four debuts on the Adult Pop Airplay chart this frame, and despite its handicap, “Aperture” is not the lowest-peaking of that bunch. Styles beats Hilary Duff’s “Roommates,” which launches in last place, at No. 40.

Two cuts start off only a few spaces ahead of Styles and Duff. Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” and “Nothing Is Impossible” by Mariah Carey kick off their time on the Adult Pop Airplay roster at Nos. 35 and 36, respectively.

Harry Styles Earns His Tenth Adult Pop Airplay Hit

Styles earns his milestone tenth win on the Adult Pop Airplay chart as “Aperture” arrives. His new single marks a new career low point on the ranking, though that will likely only be the case for a frame or two.

Half of all of the songs that the Grammy winner has pushed onto the radio roster have cracked the top 10. Three of those tunes — “As It Was,” “Late Night Talking,” and “Watermelon Sugar” — led the charge, with “As It Was” ruling for eight frames, while his other two champions only managed a single turn in first place.

“Sign of the Times” Returns to Billboard’s Global Charts

All of the excitement around “Aperture” and the beginning of a new era for one of the world’s biggest pop stars helps Styles’ debut solo single, “Sign of the Times,” reach a new chart high. The cut, which introduced his first album on his own, a self-titled affair, reenters the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. at No. 155, which now stands as its most impressive placement.

At the same time, the single breaks back onto the Billboard Global 200 at No. 182. Unlike on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., however, “Sign of the Times” does not reach an exciting new peak on the worldwide list, as it has previously surged to No. 168.

“As It Was” Climbs Worldwide

“Aperture” is not yet eligible for either of Billboard’s worldwide tallies, though it may debut at No. 1 next frame. “Sign of the Times” joins “As It Was,” which jumps back into the upper half of the two rankings. “As It Was” lifts from No. 108 to No. 69 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and from No. 113 to No. 73 on the Billboard Global 200. “As It Was,” which is nearing 200 weeks on the pair of rankings, has already conquered both lists.

The development comes as the underlying Ethereum network continues to see significant on-chain activity, including large sales from ETH whales. The partnership establishes Chainlink as the official oracle infrastructure for the network. It is designed to provide developers on the Taiko platform with reliable and high-speed market data, essential for building a wide range of decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, from complex derivatives platforms to more niche projects involving unique token governance models. According to the project’s official announcement on Sept. 17, the integration enables the creation of more advanced on-chain products that require high-quality, tamper-proof data to function securely. Taiko operates as a “based rollup,” which means it leverages Ethereum validators for transaction sequencing for strong decentralization. Boosting DeFi and Institutional Interest Oracles are fundamental services in the blockchain industry. They act as secure bridges that feed external, off-chain information to on-chain smart contracts. DeFi protocols, in particular, rely on oracles for accurate, real-time price feeds. Taiko leadership stated that using Chainlink’s infrastructure aligns with its goals. The team hopes the partnership will help attract institutional crypto investment and support the development of real-world applications, a goal that aligns with Chainlink’s broader mission to bring global data on-chain.
