KuCoin Partners with Tadej Pogačar in Unique Trust-Focused Collaboration

  • KuCoin has teamed up with Tadej Pogačar in a new partnership based on trust and performance.
  • The collaboration bridges the gap between cryptocurrency and elite cycling.
  • Both parties emphasize long-term consistency and professionalism in their fields.

Global crypto exchange KuCoin has entered into an unlikely collaboration with Tadej Pogačar, one of cycling’s brightest stars. The partnership, unveiled in Vienna, connects the worlds of digital finance and elite sports, both fields where long-term performance and professionalism are key to success.

Rather than a traditional sponsorship, the collaboration is centered around a shared belief that trust is earned, not given. The partnership highlights the idea that sustained success in any field, whether crypto or cycling, comes from consistent results over time.

A Focus on Trust and Consistency

For KuCoin, building trust has been a slow and steady process over the past eight years. The exchange has invested heavily in security and regulatory compliance, working to create a platform that users can rely on. KuCoin’s certifications include SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, which are technical credentials that institutional investors care about.

Pogačar, too, has earned trust through his remarkable performance in cycling. With four Tour de France victories and several other major titles, he’s built a reputation for consistency, discipline, and safety. His approach to cycling, focused on preparation and responsible decision-making, aligns closely with KuCoin’s values.

Why Vienna?

The choice of Vienna for the announcement was deliberate. KuCoin officially launched its European operations yesterday, January 28, a move that coincides with the rollout of MiCAR, Europe’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation. Notably, MiCAR is seen as one of the strictest and most comprehensive regulatory frameworks for crypto globally.

Being approved under these rules signals to European users and financial institutions that KuCoin operates under formal oversight, rather than in an uncertain regulatory space. Pogačar’s involvement adds visibility to the launch, as the cyclist is widely recognized across the continent, helping draw attention to the company’s regulated presence in Europe.

Shared Values in Unlikely Places

Despite the differences between cryptocurrency and professional cycling, both KuCoin and Pogačar believe in the importance of responsibility, consistency, and preparation. Pogačar explained, “Trust is built through performance and responsible decisions, especially under pressure. That’s something I see reflected in how KuCoin approaches trust and security.”

KuCoin’s CEO, BC Wong, echoed this sentiment, noting that the partnership represents a growing connection between crypto and elite sports, both of which demand long-term focus and commitment. “At KuCoin, we apply the same principles to our platform that Tadej brings to his cycling career,” Wong said.

Product Integration Comes Next

The partnership will eventually include product rollouts. However, KuCoin isn’t rushing to release branded apps or Pogačar-themed promotions. Instead, the company is taking a cautious approach, ensuring that every product is introduced “in a measured and responsible manner” in accordance with local regulations.

KuCoin CEO BC Wong emphasized, “We’re focused on professionalism, discipline, and responsible operations. Tadej’s excellence mirrors how we approach crypto, strengthening security, compliance, and governance.”

Rare Collaboration

This partnership stands out because it’s one of the few to bring together the cryptocurrency world with professional sports. While crypto has seen increasing adoption in various sectors, collaborations with athletes, especially those at the top of their field, remain rare.

The hope is that this partnership will inspire others to see how values like trust, discipline, and consistency can bridge the gap between different industries.

By teaming up with Pogačar, KuCoin is further emphasizing its commitment to responsible growth in the crypto space. While both parties benefit from the association, the bigger goal is to show how trust can connect seemingly unrelated sectors, encouraging a more responsible and mainstream adoption of cryptocurrency.

UK Looks to US to Adopt More Crypto-Friendly Approach

The post UK Looks to US to Adopt More Crypto-Friendly Approach appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. The UK and US are reportedly preparing to deepen cooperation on digital assets, with Britain looking to copy the Trump administration’s crypto-friendly stance in a bid to boost innovation.  UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves and US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent discussed on Tuesday how the two nations could strengthen their coordination on crypto, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.  The discussions also involved representatives from crypto companies, including Coinbase, Circle Internet Group and Ripple, with executives from the Bank of America, Barclays and Citi also attending, according to the report. The agreement was made “last-minute” after crypto advocacy groups urged the UK government on Thursday to adopt a more open stance toward the industry, claiming its cautious approach to the sector has left the country lagging in innovation and policy.  Source: Rachel Reeves Deal to include stablecoins, look to unlock adoption Any deal between the countries is likely to include stablecoins, the Financial Times reported, an area of crypto that US President Donald Trump made a policy priority and in which his family has significant business interests. The Financial Times reported on Monday that UK crypto advocacy groups also slammed the Bank of England’s proposal to limit individual stablecoin holdings to between 10,000 British pounds ($13,650) and 20,000 pounds ($27,300), claiming it would be difficult and expensive to implement. UK banks appear to have slowed adoption too, with around 40% of 2,000 recently surveyed crypto investors saying that their banks had either blocked or delayed a payment to a crypto provider.  Many of these actions have been linked to concerns over volatility, fraud and scams. The UK has made some progress on crypto regulation recently, proposing a framework in May that would see crypto exchanges, dealers, and agents treated similarly to traditional finance firms, with…
