  • Injective Mainnet now integrates Chainlink Data Streams, offering faster dApp deployment.
  • Helix Markets is the first Injective dApp to adopt this integration for real-time data streams.
  • Chainlink delivers low-latency, customizable data feeds crucial for financial applications.

Injective, a blockchain platform tailored for financial purposes, has finally integrated Data Streams by Chainlink into its mainnet. The collaboration represents an important milestone towards achieving improved services characterized by their ability to provide high speeds and dependability.

The main agenda of Injective has consistently been the support of DeFi, and with this new technology, it has managed to provide faster time-to-market services to developers creating DeFi apps.

For many dApp developers, time is a critical factor, and Injective’s deployment of Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility, coupled with Chainlink’s powerful data feeds, gives them an edge.

With these integrations, developers can achieve faster development of financial tools, allowing easier launching and enhancing innovations. Through Chainlink’s real-time data stream offering, developers at Injective can tap into one of the fastest and most reliable data infrastructure platforms available in the market.

The data streams in Chainlink offer Injective’s ecosystem significant advantages in terms of providing market participants with immediate and sub-second-precise market data. Market data is updated in sub-seconds, providing market entities with immediate and unconditional access to critical market information.

However, in financial markets, where milliseconds make all the difference, either in high-frequency trading systems or immediate settlements of financial instruments in DeFi systems. Through its connectivity with the vast Chainlink ecosystem, developers at Injective can tap into such market information from institutions.

The integration enables users to personalize their streams of data according to what their application demands. Whether it is resolving cadence, creating format, and including some pieces of information, developers can adjust Chainlink’s solutions to suit their dApp. This is particularly crucial in financial markets, as any detail can make or break the success of products.

Helix Markets has become the first dApp to integrate with Chainlink Data Streams on Injective. This merger shows that the strength of Injective and Chainlink together can enhance market functions for cryptocurrencies and traditional assets.

Through the strong infrastructure provided by Chainlink, Helix Markets acquires market data such as live and high-throughput market feeds, which Helix Markets necessarily requires to engage in financial services.

HelixMarkets will rely on the data provided by Chainlink to provide users with up-to-date market information regarding cryptocurrency and traditional markets. This shows that the fintech ecosystem, Injective, has what it takes to offer developers all that is needed to build advanced projects.

Partnership Strengthen’s Injective’s DeFi Ecosystem

The integration of data streams by Chainlink will make Injective an even more attractive platform not only for developers but specifically for those focusing on finance and decentralized markets. The increasing adoption of Chainlink technology by numerous dApps, including Helix Markets, will bring about growth and make the DeFi sector even more vibrant and efficient.

The future of Injective’s ecosystem, with Chainlink’s real-time data, shines bright. For developers in today’s ever-changing DeFi ecosystem, this integration means that Injective will be one of the most optimal blockchains to build financial services on.

Cashing In On University Patents Means Giving Up On Our Innovation Future

The post Cashing In On University Patents Means Giving Up On Our Innovation Future appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. “It’s a raid on American innovation that would deliver pennies to the Treasury while kneecapping the very engine of our economic and medical progress,” writes Pipes. Getty Images Washington is addicted to taxing success. Now, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick is floating a plan to skim half the patent earnings from inventions developed at universities with federal funding. It’s being sold as a way to shore up programs like Social Security. In reality, it’s a raid on American innovation that would deliver pennies to the Treasury while kneecapping the very engine of our economic and medical progress. Yes, taxpayer dollars support early-stage research. But the real payoff comes later—in the jobs created, cures discovered, and industries launched when universities and private industry turn those discoveries into real products. By comparison, the sums at stake in patent licensing are trivial. Universities collectively earn only about $3.6 billion annually in patent income—less than the federal government spends on Social Security in a single day. Even confiscating half would barely register against a $6 trillion federal budget. And yet the damage from such a policy would be anything but trivial. The true return on taxpayer investment isn’t in licensing checks sent to Washington, but in the downstream economic activity that federally supported research unleashes. Thanks to the bipartisan Bayh-Dole Act of 1980, universities and private industry have powerful incentives to translate early-stage discoveries into real-world products. Before Bayh-Dole, the government hoarded patents from federally funded research, and fewer than 5% were ever licensed. Once universities could own and license their own inventions, innovation exploded. The result has been one of the best returns on investment in government history. Since 1996, university research has added nearly $2 trillion to U.S. industrial output, supported 6.5 million jobs, and launched more than 19,000 startups. Those companies pay…
