Cronos One Goes Live as Cronos Expands Identity-Based Onboarding

  • Cronos One simplifies Web3 onboarding with a single, unified gateway.
  • Cronos Verify adds trusted, privacy-preserving identity checks for dApps and users.

Cronos Labs has launched a new unified onboarding platform, Cronos One, designed to simplify how users enter and interact with the Cronos ecosystem. With it, the platform will bring multiple onboarding steps, such as bridging, wallet funding, and verification, into a single interface. The aim is to make Web3 better by making access to the ecosystem simpler, safer, and more verifiable.

Cronos Labs has been busy already with the ongoing Cronos x402 Hackathon, where developers are actively building agent-driven and automated transaction systems. Many of these experiments rely on identity signals to enable secure programmable payments and AI-assisted workflows. This is why Cronos One’s introduction will make things better since verification layers are becoming increasingly relevant as on-chain activity grows more autonomous.

Developers are facing rising risks around Sybil attacks and misuse as agent-based interactions expand. Verifiable identity frameworks are now viewed as a necessary foundation for scaling automation without sacrificing security or fairness.

Cronos Verify Introduces Privacy-Preserving Identity Attestations

A key feature of Cronos One is Cronos Verify. This is a gasless on-chain attestation that connects a wallet to a verified Crypto.com account without exposing personal information. Instead of publishing identity data, the system provides cryptographic proof of verification.

On-chain attestations are increasingly used to support loyalty programs, gated utilities, and cross-dApp reputation signals. By integrating verification at the onboarding level, Cronos blockchain aims to give developers a reliable way to differentiate genuine users from automated or duplicated wallets.

Several ecosystems have already integrated Cronos Verify. Some of them include applications, including Moonlander, Delphi, Tectonic, and VVS Finance. Verified users can access benefits such as fee discounts, gasless transactions, exclusive launchpad allocations, and reward vouchers, while dApps gain higher assurance around incentive distribution.

The Infrastructure Push on the Cronos Roadmap

Cronos One also builds on recent network upgrades. This includes lowering transaction fees, faster block times, and expanded identity-enabled tooling across decentralized applications. Cronos Labs described the launch as a step forward on its 2025–2026 roadmap. This is just one part of Cronos’ plan for 2026 to improve influstructure, as we reported earlier.

Mirko Zhao, the Head of Cronos Labs, said:

Cronos One is now live at one.cronos.org, with Cronos Labs confirming that additional partners and verification-based utilities will be introduced in future phases as adoption grows.

Headwind Helps Best Wallet Token

The post Headwind Helps Best Wallet Token appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Google has announced the launch of a new open-source protocol called Agent Payments Protocol (AP2) in partnership with Coinbase, the Ethereum Foundation, and 60 other organizations. This allows AI agents to make payments on behalf of users using various methods such as real-time bank transfers, credit and debit cards, and, most importantly, stablecoins. Let’s explore in detail what this could mean for the broader cryptocurrency markets, and also highlight a presale crypto (Best Wallet Token) that could explode as a result of this development. Google’s Push for Stablecoins Agent Payments Protocol (AP2) uses digital contracts known as ‘Intent Mandates’ and ‘Verifiable Credentials’ to ensure that AI agents undertake only those payments authorized by the user. Mandates, by the way, are cryptographically signed, tamper-proof digital contracts that act as verifiable proof of a user’s instruction. For example, let’s say you instruct an AI agent to never spend more than $200 in a single transaction. This instruction is written into an Intent Mandate, which serves as a digital contract. Now, whenever the AI agent tries to make a payment, it must present this mandate as proof of authorization, which will then be verified via the AP2 protocol. Alongside this, Google has also launched the A2A x402 extension to accelerate support for the Web3 ecosystem. This production-ready solution enables agent-based crypto payments and will help reshape the growth of cryptocurrency integration within the AP2 protocol. Google’s inclusion of stablecoins in AP2 is a massive vote of confidence in dollar-pegged cryptocurrencies and a huge step toward making them a mainstream payment option. This widens stablecoin usage beyond trading and speculation, positioning them at the center of the consumption economy. The recent enactment of the GENIUS Act in the U.S. gives stablecoins more structure and legal support. Imagine paying for things like data crawls, per-task…
