BNB Chain’s Better Payment Network enables AWS customers to pay bills using BNB, offering real-time settlement and reduced transaction costs.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers can now utilize Binance Coin (BNB) as a payment option through the Better Payment Network (BPN), according to the BNB Chain blog. This integration marks a significant advancement in the use of digital currencies for enterprise-level transactions, providing businesses with a streamlined, cost-efficient method to manage global payments.

Significant Advantages for Enterprises

The integration of BNB payments via BPN offers several benefits for enterprises relying on AWS for cloud services. One of the primary advantages is real-time settlement, which allows for instant payment clearance, enhancing cash flow management and eliminating delays associated with traditional payment systems.

Additionally, the low-fee environment of the BNB Chain reduces transaction costs typically incurred in cross-border or high-frequency cloud billing. This is particularly beneficial for companies operating across multiple regions, as it simplifies the payment process without the complexities of international banking.

Enhanced Security and Scalability

BPN is designed with enterprise-level security and compliance in mind. It provides a secure, transparent, and programmable settlement process that integrates seamlessly with AWS billing systems. BPN acts as a bridge between digital assets and large-scale enterprise billing, bringing together regulated stablecoin issuers, financial institutions, and DeFi platforms to deliver efficient global payment solutions.

Rica Fu, Founder of BPN, emphasized the network’s capability to support secure, scalable transaction processing for both institutional and retail businesses. By integrating with AWS billing workflows, BPN showcases how digital assets can streamline enterprise payments at scale, offering significant operational efficiencies for global businesses.

Expanding Real-World Use Cases for BNB

This development further cements BNB’s role in real-world financial applications, transitioning from a mere trading instrument to a settlement asset for high-frequency and cross-border flows. Sarah Song, Head of Business Development at BNB Chain, noted that AWS customers now have access to fast, low-cost payments with global reach, bolstering BNB’s presence as a practical payment asset across various enterprise environments.

AWS users globally can now leverage BNB to pay their cloud bills through BPN, supporting both enterprise and developer billing accounts. This marks a significant step in integrating on-chain payments into standard business operations.

BNB Chain continues to drive Web3 adoption by removing barriers and offering fast execution, low fees, and decentralized storage through its ecosystem, which includes BNB Smart Chain, opBNB, and BNB Greenfield. According to the BNB Chain blog, BPN, incubated by YZi Labs, is a multi-stablecoin payment and FX network built on BNB Chain, providing instant, low-cost settlement for enterprises and payment institutions.

Michael Saylor Pushes Digital Capital Narrative At Bitcoin Treasuries Unconference

The post Michael Saylor Pushes Digital Capital Narrative At Bitcoin Treasuries Unconference appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. The suitcoiners are in town.  From a low-key, circular podium in the middle of a lavish New York City event hall, Strategy executive chairman Michael Saylor took the mic and opened the Bitcoin Treasuries Unconference event. He joked awkwardly about the orange ties, dresses, caps and other merch to the (mostly male) audience of who’s-who in the bitcoin treasury company world.  Once he got onto the regular beat, it was much of the same: calm and relaxed, speaking freely and with confidence, his keynote was heavy on the metaphors and larger historical stories. Treasury companies are like Rockefeller’s Standard Oil in its early years, Michael Saylor said: We’ve just discovered crude oil and now we’re making sense of the myriad ways in which we can use it — the automobile revolution and jet fuel is still well ahead of us.  Established, trillion-dollar companies not using AI because of “security concerns” make them slow and stupid — just like companies and individuals rejecting digital assets now make them poor and weak.  “I’d like to think that we understood our business five years ago; we didn’t.”  We went from a defensive investment into bitcoin, Saylor said, to opportunistic, to strategic, and finally transformational; “only then did we realize that we were different.” Michael Saylor: You Come Into My Financial History House?! Jokes aside, Michael Saylor is very welcome to the warm waters of our financial past. He acquitted himself honorably by invoking the British Consol — though mispronouncing it, and misdating it to the 1780s; Pelham’s consolidation of debts happened in the 1750s and perpetual government debt existed well before then — and comparing it to the gold standard and the future of bitcoin. He’s right that Strategy’s STRC product in many ways imitates the consols; irredeemable, perpetual debt, issued at par, with…
