MANILA, Philippines – The Bureau of Customs (BOC) seized eight illegally imported luxury vehicles linked to former congressman Zaldy Co on Thursday, January 8.
The operation took place at the Fort Victoria Condominium in Taguig City, following information received by the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) that 15 luxury cars allegedly owned by Co were parked in the building.
Upon inspection, BOC found that 9 of the 15 vehicles had incomplete importation documents and unpaid duties and taxes.
The Metro Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 41 subsequently issued search warrants for these nine vehicles after finding probable cause that they violated the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act.
During the search, eight of the nine vehicles were located in the condominium’s parking lot. Authorities said the vehicles were registered under companies linked to Co.
Here’s the list of the seized luxury vehicles, with a total estimated worth of P145 million:

Due to limited space at the BOC compound and the proximity of ICI offices to the search site, the seized vehicles are temporarily being held in the ICI parking lot. – Rappler.com
