DUBLIN–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The “Field Data Collection App Global Market Report 2025” has been added to ResearchAndMarkets.com’s offering.

The field data collection app market has experienced significant growth, with its size projected to increase from $2.07 billion in 2024 to $2.38 billion in 2025, reflecting a 15% CAGR. This upward trend has been driven by the widespread use of GPS-enabled devices, the need for accurate field data, increased mobile device usage, improved internet connectivity in rural areas, and governmental field survey projects. These factors have collectively facilitated the shift from manual to digital data collection methods.

Looking forward, the market is expected to reach $4.11 billion by 2029, growing at a CAGR of 14.7%. This anticipated growth is due to the rising adoption of cloud-based solutions, demand for GIS platform integration, expansion of the mobile workforce, focus on field operations automation, and data-driven decision-making. Key trends will include advancements in mobile app technology, innovation in data analytics, increased R&D investment, AI integration for data capture and analysis, and offline data synchronization technologies’ progression.

The adoption of cloud-based solutions is a major growth catalyst, offering scalability, real-time collaboration, and remote data accessibility. The demand for these solutions is rising as they provide scalable, cost-effective, and secure access to data, supporting remote work and real-time collaboration. They enhance field data collection app efficiency through real-time data capture and instant team access across locations. For example, Microsoft has projected that public cloud expenditure in Australia will grow by 83% by 2026.

Leading companies in the market, like Zerion Software Inc., are innovating with AI-powered applications to enhance data accuracy and automate workflows. Zerion’s FieldApps.ai platform exemplifies using AI in mobile data collection and workflow automation. It includes tools like conversational data collection and optical character recognition for improving efficiency and reducing errors.

The field data collection app market is also witnessing strategic acquisitions, such as Nemetschek Group’s acquisition of GoCanvas Holdings Inc. in 2024 for $770 million. This acquisition aims to digitize field workflows and expand Nemetschek’s presence in the US market.

North America led the market in 2024, with Asia-Pacific expected to be the fastest-growing region in the future. Key market participants include Zebra Technologies Corporation, Formstack LLC, and Jotform Inc.

The industry is navigating challenges due to changing trade relations and tariffs, impacting hardware manufacturing and software deployment within the IT sector. Companies are responding by investing in domestic chip production, diversifying suppliers, and adopting AI-driven automation for resilience and cost efficiency.

Michael Saylor Pushes Digital Capital Narrative At Bitcoin Treasuries Unconference

The post Michael Saylor Pushes Digital Capital Narrative At Bitcoin Treasuries Unconference appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. The suitcoiners are in town.  From a low-key, circular podium in the middle of a lavish New York City event hall, Strategy executive chairman Michael Saylor took the mic and opened the Bitcoin Treasuries Unconference event. He joked awkwardly about the orange ties, dresses, caps and other merch to the (mostly male) audience of who’s-who in the bitcoin treasury company world.  Once he got onto the regular beat, it was much of the same: calm and relaxed, speaking freely and with confidence, his keynote was heavy on the metaphors and larger historical stories. Treasury companies are like Rockefeller’s Standard Oil in its early years, Michael Saylor said: We’ve just discovered crude oil and now we’re making sense of the myriad ways in which we can use it — the automobile revolution and jet fuel is still well ahead of us.  Established, trillion-dollar companies not using AI because of “security concerns” make them slow and stupid — just like companies and individuals rejecting digital assets now make them poor and weak.  “I’d like to think that we understood our business five years ago; we didn’t.”  We went from a defensive investment into bitcoin, Saylor said, to opportunistic, to strategic, and finally transformational; “only then did we realize that we were different.” Michael Saylor: You Come Into My Financial History House?! Jokes aside, Michael Saylor is very welcome to the warm waters of our financial past. He acquitted himself honorably by invoking the British Consol — though mispronouncing it, and misdating it to the 1780s; Pelham’s consolidation of debts happened in the 1750s and perpetual government debt existed well before then — and comparing it to the gold standard and the future of bitcoin. He’s right that Strategy’s STRC product in many ways imitates the consols; irredeemable, perpetual debt, issued at par, with…
