Recent analytics from CryptoDep, sourced via LunarCrush, highlight the top Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) projects based on social activity. The data is structured around three core metrics like total posts, interactions, and social dominance. The metrics evaluate the general visibility and engagement rates on the digital front.

Dfinity ($ICP) has the highest volume 7.58K posts and 1.32M interactions and is an active participant in the community. Filecoin ($FIL) comes next with 2.54K posts and 567K interactions and the highest rate of social dominance 0.40%. The Render ($RENDER) had 2.08K posts and 174K interactions and was socially dominated with the social dominance score of 0.30%.

Mid-Tier DePIN Project Visibility

Helium ($HNT) and Siacoin ($SC) have registered a little more than 1,000 posts and interactions below 200K. The two have a social dominance share of 0.15% indicating a moderate yet steady audience coverage. Arweave ($AR) experienced 987 posts and 102K interactions that are consistent with the 0.10% dominance metric.

Akash Network ($AKT) having 831 posts and 78.3K interactions also had a 0.10% social dominance rate. $PEAQ, $ANYONE and $FLUX came next with between 650 to 750 posts. Their relationships were between 70K and 105K and social dominance was between 0.05-0.10 percent.

Comparative Analysis and Engagement Trends

Projects at the top of the list have larger communities or marketing operations that drive frequent content and discussions. Social dominance percentages indicate the relative voice share across platforms, not just raw interaction numbers. Filecoin‘s lower post count but higher dominance indicates stronger per-post engagement or platform-specific interest.

The post to interaction ratio unveils the disparities in community processes.Dfinity’s post-to-interaction ratio suggests strong amplification through sharing and responses. Smaller projects, with less posts such as $FLUX and $ANYONE, also documented measurable interactions, which are directed to focused or niche discussions.

These implications can help to see what DePIN initiatives are supporting social presence. They also indicate the change in attention and engagement in the decentralized physical infrastructure space.

The European Commission is preparing a formal probe into AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud

The post The European Commission is preparing a formal probe into AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud are all set to be investigated by the European Commission.  UK regulators are launching investigations into cloud service providers over non-compliance with its rules on market competition.  Cloud service providers under investigation European regulators are set to launch an investigation into  Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud under the scope of the EU’s Digital Markets Act (DMA).  The officials said the European Commission is evaluating whether or not these companies’ dominance gives them too much control over the market and whether an intervention is needed to promote competition and resilience. The areas under review include data portability, interoperability with rival platforms, and restrictions on tying and bundling of services. So far, providers have managed to avoid drawing DMA scrutiny due to the fact that many of their customers are enterprises, which makes counting “individual users” more challenging.  Major cloud outages over the last year have exposed the risks of overreliance on just a few providers. The EU worries that if the cloud market remains consolidated, any disruption to operations would be felt widely.  For instance, AWS suffered a 15-hour outage in October that affected companies including Apple and McDonald’s. Microsoft Azure experienced a glitch that disrupted airline check-ins, and Google Cloud has also gone offline for some high-profile clients. UK crackdown on market concentration If the Commission finds that AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud qualify under the DMA framework, they could face new legal duties such as making it easier for customers to switch providers, share data, or break up bundled services. Noncompliance would result in the company being fined.  These will not be the first companies to be fined over market concentration practices. Back in July 2025, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) concluded a market investigation…
