Ethervista (VISTA) is a decentralized exchange (DEX) and token issuance platform on Ethereum designed to address the limitations of traditional Automated Market Maker (AMM) models. Its tokenomics are structured to incentivize long-term sustainability, discourage short-term speculation, and provide robust security against common DeFi risks like "rug pulls."

Issuance Mechanism

The issuance of VISTA followed a "fair launch" model to ensure broad distribution and transparency.

• Hard-Capped Supply: VISTA has a fixed maximum supply of 1,000,000 tokens. No additional tokens can ever be created beyond this limit.
• Launch Distribution: At launch on August 31, 2024, 100% of the total supply was allocated to the VISTA/WETH liquidity pool.
• Deflationary Model: The protocol employs a value-compounding deflationary mechanism. A portion of the transaction fees generated on the platform (collected in ETH) is automatically used to buy back and burn VISTA tokens. This process permanently removes tokens from circulation, reducing the total supply and incrementally raising the token's price floor with every transaction.

Allocation Mechanism

Ethervista distinguished itself by avoiding traditional pre-allocations often seen in DeFi projects.

• No Insider Reserves: There were no reserved token allocations for the team, insiders, or private investors.
• Public Availability: All tokens were made available to the public at launch through the initial liquidity pool.
• Fair Launch: The project emphasized a lack of pre-sales or team pre-allocations, aiming for an equitable start for all participants.

Usage and Incentive Mechanism

The platform introduces a novel fee structure that shifts incentives from price appreciation to trading volume.

• Native ETH Fees: Unlike most DEXs that charge fees in the tokens being traded, Ethervista charges custom flat fees paid exclusively in native ETH.
• Reward Distribution: Fees are distributed among liquidity providers (LPs) and token creators using a mathematical model known as the Euler sequence. This ensures that rewards are distributed fairly and proportionally based on liquidity shares, even as the total supply of LP tokens changes.
• Incentivizing Creators: Token creators earn ETH from protocol fees based on the trading volume their tokens generate. This encourages creators to focus on the utility and longevity of their projects rather than short-term price pumps.
• Programmable Logic: Creators can assign accrued ETH fees to specific smart contracts to fund various DeFi applications, such as auto-buys, staking rewards, or community treasuries.
• Platform Development Fee: A fixed $1 fee is allocated to every swap to fund the ongoing development of the Ethervista DEX and the VISTA token.

Locking Mechanism and Unlocking Time

To protect investors and foster trust, Ethervista implements mandatory security features for all new token launches.

The five-day liquidity lock is a critical feature, as research indicates most malicious liquidity removals occur within the first two to four days of a project's launch. By enforcing this window, Ethervista ensures that creators cannot withdraw liquidity before other participants, providing a more stable environment for early-stage projects. Additionally, creators have the option to permanently lock their liquidity while still earning ETH rewards from LP fees.
