As the native fuel for the Vortex platform, a portion of all transaction fees is automatically charged in $PEN. Additionally, the $PEN token unlocks tangible utility within the ecosystem: users can stake $PEN to receive tiered fee discounts on Vortex, and Web3 projects must bond $PEN to list their assets on the platform.

Pendulum operates under a strict Tokenomics model. The token supply features a deflationary hard cap of 150 million $PEN with zero ongoing inflation.
